Shanti
Talisman Ljubvi Yuvelirnaya Igrushka.
Shanti came to us from Marina Iozhitsa, kennel Talisman Ljubvi in
Vologda, Russia.
Her name was from the story "The Junglebook" and it means calm, tranquility
in sanskrit.Shanti was always happy and loved her new world in
Sweden. She did everything she possibly could to charm her way into
a lap to kiss and cuddle.
Unfortunately she had an accident. She jumped out of the armchair
when the doorbell rang right into the living room table. The landed
so bad that her leg broke.
Shanti went through surgery in september and the leg healed as it
should.
When we went back to the vet to remove the implant the surgeon
discovered that the bone was so weakened that the prognosis for a
full recovery was very slim.
When we removed the bandage we discovered that the bone was broken
again.
The vet gave her small chances of recovering from a second
operation so we had to make the painful decision to put her down.
Shanti became 16 months old. |
