Peter, Ann and Elin Lindberg, that is us. We live in the beautiful surroundings of Lervik, by the coast in the Stockholm Archipelago just outside Åkersberga.
We moved here in spring 2005 after living almost our whole life's in Skånela, just outside Märsta.

The name of our kennel, Djurgården, has nothing to do with the athletic club from Stockholm. The name came from our first pet store.
The kennel was registered with the Swedish Kennel club in 1987 and our first litter of Dalmatian puppies was born in 1990.
After a number spotted litters another breed came to the kennel, Lowchen.

Our first Russkiy toy, RT, came to us in the beginning of 2006, just before the breed was officially recognized by FCI and SKK.
This bitch, Rusthollin Dizzy-Dixi (Wendy) was also the first smooth-haired RT to be registered in Sweden.

We have the privilege to work with our hobby, which are animals. We own 3 pet stores in the northern region of Stockholm and in Uppsala and there we meet pet owners every day with different animals such as dogs, cats, rodents, birds etc.
We have participated in several educations such as genetics, nutrition for dogs etc.
Ann is also an accredited ring secretary since May 2009.

The first Russkiy toy we met is called "Alfons" (Tastaway´s Timoshka) who knocked us of our feet! We had never heard of this "new" breed and we first believed him to be a very "different" Chihuahua. After this meeting we were totally sold and we hope that you will have the same feeling from this little breed and fall for their great charm!
